MEAC Hosts Community Day March 7	< All News

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., November 5, 2009 - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will host its second annual Community Day, Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at the Hanes Hosiery Recreation Center (501 Reynolds Blvd.) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The event is free and open to the public.

Community Day tips-off the 2010 MEAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament held March 8-13 at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (LJVM) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Participants will enjoy food and drinks from a variety of vendors, local talent will be showcased and a D.J. will provide musical entertainment.

Fans are encouraged to come out and play games and win prizes. Children ages 14 and under will received ticket vouchers redeemable for basketball games on March 9th (Youth Day) at the Joel Coliseum.
